Like so many of the lower-ranking concert ticket services we reviewed, TicketNetwork is a good service with a strong selection of tickets for the concerts we examined. It also boasts an international focus not found in every site. Its prices were average to cheaper than several of the other websites (even some of the higher-ranked ones), and the service fees about average. However, it lacks most of the convenience features that make it a better choice for the avid concertgoer.
The website is easy to navigate, with a search engine on the homepage that lets you look for specific types of events in your area within a timeframe you designate. You can also search by band in the search bar or by looking at the list on the concert page. The maps are slower to load than with other sites, but they are interactive when available and include an option to sort by eTicket. You can also find parking passes here when someone has them to sell.
If you’re an avid concertgoer, you may find this site lacking in features that will appeal to you. There’s no rewards program, gift certificate option or mobile app. You can’t set price alerts. You can sell your own tickets, and the commissioning fee is average for a concert ticket service.
The site is secured and checked by McAfee, one of the major third-party security sites for online business. TicketNetwork also has a guarantee that refunds you 125 percent of your purchase if your tickets are not delivered on time or prove not to be authentic. It also refunds you 100 percent of the ticket price if the event is canceled. However, it does not offer ticket insurance, so you lose your money if you cannot attend for whatever reason.
While this site ranks average for most domestic concert ticket concerns, this website is a good place to check for international concert tickets. In addition to offering tickets to such events, it has websites in Spanish, French, Portuguese and German, so you are more likely to find – or to be able to sell – tickets in countries that speak these languages.
The prices and service fees, plus the 125 percent guarantee, make TicketNetwork a good place to check out if comparing concert ticket prices, but it lacks many of the features that might appeal to an avid concertgoer. However, its international focus makes it one of the best choices if looking for concerts outside the United States.
